Our research and development department recently perfected a new carbon dioxide “scrubbing” technology which will be able to remove global-warming C02 from the atmosphere and store it in a variety of materials. Did you know that burning fossil fuels produces approximately 27 billion tons of carbon dioxide a year?

Our scientists at LexCorp in Metropolis have been working feverishly on carbon scrubbing technology ever since we picked up signs of global warming from LexCorp atmospheric buoys ten years ago. Recently, these scientists have perfected ion-exchange technology that will provide a cheap and economical way to trap carbon dioxide from the air. Once trapped, we can sequester the compound safely, without harming our environment.

The LexScrub-3 devices will be first offered to companies in countries that have signed the Kyoto Accords to reduce carbon emissions. One day, millions of LexScrub-3s will be placed all over the planet, helping to keep our Earth cool and livable for years to come.
